Murrysville library renovates in 2026 to boost broadband use

The Murrysville Community Library will undergo a major renovation in early 2026, funded by a $400,000 grant, to promote expanded broadband services. The library's Wi-Fi speed doubled in early May, prompting renovations including new furniture, updated lounge areas, and quiet rooms for various activities. The project aims to enhance the library's role as a community hub. The renovation will also improve the entryway, replace furniture and carpeting, and add an art display wall. Library officials are also exploring ways to improve cell service within the building.
