Munich Oktoberfest beer prices rise again this year

The city reviews the prices charged by the beer tent operators, comparing them to prices at other large Munich restaurants. Oktoberfest organizers cite inflation and increased costs, including specially brewed beer and tent setup, as reasons for the price increase. The festival, the world's largest, begins September 20th and runs through October 5th.
