Mumbai actor Divya Vinekar dies suddenly at 40, known for 'Darlings' and 'Jalsa'

Mumbai-based actor and digital creator Divya Vinekar died suddenly on October 20, 2026, as announced by her friend, radio jockey Rohini Ramnathan, who requested privacy for the family. Vinekar appeared in the 2022 films 'Darlings' and 'Jalsa', and had spent nearly a decade in digital marketing before fully committing to acting around 2018. She also worked in radio, freelance writing, and theatre. Her final rites were held at Shivaji Park Hindu Crematorium in Mumbai on October 20. Her cause of death has not been disclosed.
