Monza train station's newly renovated pavement is already damaged less than a month after construction finished. Opposition councilors claim poor workmanship and substandard materials were used. The councilor Paolo Piffer questioned if the damage was predictable or due to execution flaws. The public works councilor stated the damage is due to vehicles using the pedestrian area, not the contractor, and repairs will be at the company's expense.
