Montreal Victoire trades Kjellbin for forward Willoughby

The Montreal Victoire have traded defender Anna Kjellbin to the Toronto Sceptres for forward Kaitlin Willoughby. This was the only trade before the Professional Women's Hockey League's deadline. Kjellbin had one assist in 18 games for Montreal this season, while Willoughby did not score in 20 games with Toronto. Both teams expressed satisfaction with the trade. Victoire general manager Daniele Sauvageau noted Willoughby's addition enhances team depth. Sceptres general manager Gina Kingsbury highlighted Kjellbin's international experience and leadership as a benefit for Toronto.
