Mondo Duplantis wins 2025 Mondo Classic at 6.05m

Mondo Duplantis won the 2025 Mondo Classic with a vault of 6.05 meters but missed the chance to set a new world record at 6.28 meters. He brushed the bar in all three attempts at the higher height. Duplantis' current world record of 6.27 meters was set on February 28. Greece's Emmanouil Karalis finished second with a vault of six meters, while American Sam Kendricks took third at 5.9 meters. The competition featured seven of the top eight finishers from the Paris 2024 final. Duplantis will next compete at the World Indoor Championships, aiming for his third consecutive gold medal.
