Moe Berg beat Nordås in Norwegian Championship

Håkon Moe Berg, a 19-year-old, surprisingly won the 1500m race at the Norwegian Championships, defeating favorite Narve Gilje Nordås. Nordås led until the final lap but was overtaken by Moe Berg. Nordås attributed his loss to muscle fatigue from a previous 5km race. The race pace was unexpectedly slow, according to coach Gjert Ingebrigtsen, who noted Nordås had to lead for most of the event.
