Modi engages with tribal leaders at Janjatiya Gaurav Divas in Bihar

On November 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with tribal people from Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) district during the ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Divas’ event in Jamui, Bihar. This event celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Modi visited a stall showcasing Araku Coffee and tribal products. He interacted with tribal representatives, including Swabhi Ganga, who presented a photo album of development initiatives from the PM JANMAN program, which began in January. During their discussion, Modi inquired about local development activities. He learned that the PM JANMAN program has provided housing, health cards, and other services to thousands of tribal residents in ASR district.
