Modi adopts Trump's slogan to promote India's development goals
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the slogan "Make India Great Again" (MIGA) during a press conference with U.S. President Donald Trump. Modi emphasized India's focus on development by 2047 and the importance of U.S.-India cooperation. Trump announced plans to provide India with F-35 fighter jets and increase military sales. He also confirmed the extradition of a suspect involved in the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attack to face justice in India. Modi stated that India would accept illegal Indian immigrants deported from the U.S. He reiterated that anyone entering another country illegally has no right to remain there.
