Minneapolis Police Arrest Activist Jake Lang After Vehicles Drive at Crowd

Far-right activist Jake Lang was arrested Saturday after police said vehicles associated with him drove onto a sidewalk toward a crowd outside Minneapolis City Hall, according to the Minneapolis Police Department. Police said Lang arrived with supporters in two vehicles that drove onto the sidewalk before officers intervened. All occupants, including Lang, were arrested on probable cause riot, and both vehicles were impounded. The incident followed a rally Lang organized that drew counterprotesters. Lang, pardoned by President Trump in January 2025 for his role in the January 6 Capitol riot, is now running for a U.S. Senate seat in Florida.
