Michael Cole, star of The Mod Squad and It, dies at 84

Michael Cole, known for his role as Pete Cochran in the TV series The Mod Squad, has died at age 84. His representatives confirmed he passed away peacefully on December 10, surrounded by family. Cole starred in The Mod Squad from 1968 to 1973, a show that addressed social issues of the time. He also played the older Henry Bowers in the 1990 miniseries It and appeared in various other TV shows and films. Born on July 3, 1940, in Wisconsin, Cole had a diverse career in acting, including stage performances. He is survived by his wife, Shelley Funes, and three children.
