Metro Manila and 15 regions in the Philippines to see rain on December 16

Metro Manila and 15 other areas in the Philippines will experience rain on December 16 due to the northeast monsoon, shear line, and intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ). The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated light rain in many regions. The shear line will bring overcast skies and scattered rains to Quezon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, and the Bicol Region. Meanwhile, the ITCZ will affect Eastern and Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Caraga, and Soccsksargen with similar weather conditions. Pagasa has issued a gale warning for the western, eastern, and northern coasts of Northern Luzon, where wave heights may reach up to five meters. Areas affected include Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Ilocos provinces.
