Mercedes-Benz announces launch date for EQS 450 electric SUV in India

Mercedes-Benz will launch the EQS 450 electric SUV on January 9, 2025. This model is a 5-seater version of the EQS 580, which was introduced in September 2024. Both models share a 122kWh battery, the largest for passenger EVs in India. The EQS 450 features a similar design to the EQS 580, including a black panel grille and full-width LED lights. It will offer a spacious interior with advanced technology, including a Mercedes Hyperscreen and multiple entertainment options for rear passengers. The EQS 450 has dual electric motors producing 544 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 4.7 seconds. The EQS 580 has a certified range of 809 km, and the lighter EQS 450 may offer even more range.
