Mansa court orders BBC to respond about Moose Wala documentary

A Mansa court has ordered the BBC to respond by June 16 to a civil suit concerning a documentary about the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala. The court's decision follows the release of the two-part documentary on YouTube. The documentary, "The Killing Call," was released on June 11, Moose Wala's 32nd birth anniversary, despite his father's request to halt its screening. The court also directed an investigative journalist and the program producer to file statements. Moose Wala's father alleges the documentary contains objectionable content and has filed complaints. The singer was killed in 2022, and the case is still under trial.
