Manitoba expects heavy snowfall, biggest storm this season

Manitoba is preparing for heavy snowfall, with predictions it may be the largest storm of the winter season. David Phillips from Environment and Climate Change Canada noted that the snowfall in the next 24 hours could surpass what the province has experienced throughout the winter. As spring approaches, residents are getting ready for significant amounts of snow. Initial forecasts for Winnipeg suggested little impact, but the city is now under a snowfall warning, expecting 15 to 25 centimeters of snow. The City of Winnipeg is making preparations to clear snow if the storm hits hard. City crews are on standby to monitor conditions, applying sand or salt to roads as needed. Currently, there are no winter parking bans in effect.
