Manchester United plans significant squad changes this summer
Ruben Amorim, Manchester United's head coach, stated that changes to the squad are necessary at the end of the season. The team is currently 14th in the Premier League, which could be their lowest finish since 1974. Amorim emphasized the importance of honesty with players regarding their futures. He noted that some players may need to move on, regardless of the team's performance in the remaining matches. Key player movements include Jadon Sancho's permanent transfer to Chelsea, while the futures of Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia are uncertain. Several contracts, including those of Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof, will expire in June 2025.
