Man completes 28,700-mile journey from Egypt to Japan without flying
Omar Nok recently completed a 28,700-mile journey from Egypt to Japan, traveling without planes. His nine-month adventure included diverse modes of transport like buses, trains, and even horseback riding, allowing him to experience various cultures firsthand. Nok's travel approach involved minimal planning and avoiding research on destinations to keep his experiences fresh. He relied on local hospitality, often finding warmth and generosity in places he initially viewed as unsafe, such as Iran and Afghanistan. After gaining a large following on Instagram, Nok plans to use his online presence for future travel sponsorships. He will soon return to Cairo, where he has already booked a flight, marking a shift from his extensive overland journey.
