Man charged for throwing soda at women, children

A 62-year-old man from Ruscombmanor Township faces charges for throwing soda at a family in a restaurant. The incident occurred at a Wendy's in Tilden Township when Stuart Brooks believed a woman had cut in line. Police were called to the venue on Sunday after receiving reports of a disorderly male. Brooks approached the victims, which included two women and their children, and became aggressive when asked to stop staring at them. Brooks filled a cup with soda and threw it at one woman, hitting her face and soaking her clothes. He then aimed the remaining soda at the second woman, who was shielding children. Police interviewed him later, and he admitted to the incident, insisting he acted in defense of himself. He has been charged with multiple counts of disorderly conduct and harassment, and the case is now before a local judge.
