Malayalam actor T.P. Madhavan dies at 88 in Kerala

Malayalam actor T.P. Madhavan passed away on October 9, 2024, at a private hospital in Kollam, Kerala. He was 88 years old and had been on ventilator support after his health worsened. Madhavan was the first general secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes and acted in over 600 films. He had been living in a care facility for the past eight years due to health issues, including dementia. His body will be available for public viewing at Gandhibhavan on October 10, 2024, from 9 am to 1 pm. The funeral is scheduled for 5 pm at Santhi Kavadam in Thiruvananthapuram.
