Mahindra delivers BE6, XUV 9e electric vehicles in India
Mahindra has begun delivering its new electric vehicles, BE6 and XUV 9e, after starting production on March 20. Despite hopes, the tradition of waiting periods continues, with bookings taking up to six months. XUV 9e has 59% of the bookings, while BE6 has 41%. Mahindra has delivered 3,000 units in the last 20 days. The vehicles are available in three variants. The company is working on faster delivery to minimize waiting times. The BE6 model's top variant is priced at 26.90 lakh rupees, while XUV 9e's top variant costs 30.50 lakh rupees. Both models offer 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery options, with fast charging capabilities.
