Madurai youth overcomes challenges to become Indian Army officer

Kabilan V, a 23-year-old from a small village near Madurai, has become an officer in the Indian Army. His father, a daily wage laborer who recently suffered a stroke, witnessed the ceremony alongside a photo of Kabilan's late mother. Kabilan faced multiple rejections while pursuing his dream. He balanced family responsibilities, including caring for his father and supporting his brother's education, while working as a volunteer with the National Disaster Response Force. His perseverance led him to the Para regiment after completing a civil engineering degree. Kabilan's journey highlights his dedication and resilience in overcoming challenges to achieve his goal.
