Lucknow University alumnus wins Jackson Pollock Award

Shatrudhan K Gupta, a former student of Lucknow University, has won the Jackson Pollock Award, receiving a grant of $15,000 from the Pollock Krasner Foundation. Gupta completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Visual Arts at the university in 2009. He has also served as a visiting lecturer there. An internationally recognized artist, Gupta works in various mediums, including paintings, ceramics, and mixed media.
