Lowe's to close all stores for Christmas Day to allow holiday celebrations

Lowe's will close all 1,700 stores for 24 hours on Christmas Day, joining other major retailers in a nationwide shopping shutdown. This closure allows customers and employees to celebrate the holiday with their families. In addition to the Christmas closure, Lowe's will offer weekly deals throughout December and same-day delivery in select areas to enhance the holiday shopping experience. The retailer also provides a buy online, pick up in-store service. Other retailers, including Home Depot, Walmart, and Target, will also close on Christmas. Some grocery stores will shut down as well, while a few convenience stores will remain open for last-minute shoppers.
