Lollar introduces versatile Super-Caster pickups for Stratocasters

Lollar Pickups has launched a new product called the Super-Caster pickups. These pickups aim to enhance the traditional sound of Stratocaster guitars. They feature a gold foil covering and a special design with larger, longer magnets. The Super-Caster pickups keep the same size as standard Strat pickups but offer a different sound. They promise “classic Strat sounds” with added punch, body, and output. The middle pickup position has gained significant attention for its ability to provide a bright, chimey sound that many players love. Lollar's production manager, Kevin Moe, describes these pickups as versatile. They are suitable for various music styles, including rock, funk, blues, and ambient music. The Super-Casters are designed to maintain clarity even when using effects. Some well-known musicians have already tried them and praised their performance. Lollar's new pickups are available now, priced at $135 each or $270 for a set. Options in nickel and chrome finishes are also offered. This release follows the company's introduction of new bass pickups last year.
