Liverpool woman dies in M6 motorway crash

A woman from Liverpool has died in a crash on the M6 motorway. The accident happened on the southbound side near North Staffordshire at about 6:30 PM on Monday, March 24. The woman, aged 67, was driving a red Hyundai when the crash occurred. A 41-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent was driving a black Mercedes and was not hurt. Another man, aged 51 from Staffordshire, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The crash involved three vehicles: a Hyundai, a silver BMW, and the Mercedes. Following the incident, emergency services arrived quickly, and the motorway was closed for several hours, reopening around 2 AM on Tuesday. Cheshire Police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
