Liverpool friends build £76M sportswear business, Montirex

Childhood friends Daniel Yuen and Kieran Riddell-Austin, founders of sportswear brand Montirex, have achieved a £76 million turnover, earning them a spot on The Sunday Times 100 list. The Liverpool-based company, founded in 2019, was ranked the second fastest-growing in the North West and 18th overall in the UK, with a 144.03% average annual growth. They have expanded without external funding. Montirex, which started with three t-shirts, plans European expansion within three years and aims for the North American market by 2030, with aspirations to compete with major global sportswear brands.
