Lidia fire in Los Angeles fully contained as other wildfires near control
The Lidia fire in Los Angeles, which burned about 395 acres, is now fully contained, according to CAL Fire. The Archer fire, the smallest of the recent wildfires, is also 100 percent contained. As of Saturday morning, other wildfires in the area are nearing containment. The Hurst fire has burned nearly 800 acres and is 76 percent contained, while the Kenneth fire has consumed 1,052 acres and is 80 percent contained. Firefighters will now focus on extinguishing the Lidia fire and redirect resources to other ongoing fires, including the Palisades fire, which has burned 22,660 acres and is only 11 percent contained.
