LG launches world's first stretchable screen with 50 percent expansion capability

LG has introduced the world's first stretchable screen, which can expand from 12 inches to 18 inches, a 50 percent increase. This high-resolution display maintains its quality even after being stretched 10,000 times and can withstand extreme temperatures. The new technology could have various applications, such as in automotive panels and wearable devices for firefighters. This development follows a South Korean government initiative launched four years ago to advance stretchable display technology. Previous attempts at stretchable screens only achieved a 20 percent expansion.
