LEVEL becomes standalone airline after securing air operator's certificate

simpleflying.com

LEVEL, IAG's long-haul low-cost airline, has become a standalone carrier after receiving its own air operator's certificate in December 2024. Previously, it operated as a brand under Iberia. Since its launch in 2017, LEVEL has expanded its route network from Barcelona to six destinations, including Buenos Aires and New York. It will now operate year-round flights to Miami, previously a seasonal route. The airline currently has six Airbus A330-200s, with plans to add two more by 2026. LEVEL aims to increase its flight frequencies but has not announced new destinations yet.
