Leaker Threatens to Release Full GTA6 Build Unless Crypto Market Cap Hits $30M

zdnet.co.kr (Korean) —

The hacker group CyberLeek, which has leaked Grand Theft Auto VI materials, is threatening to release a playable build of the entire game, from start to finish, unless a cryptocurrency's market cap reaches $30 million. CyberLeek stated on its website that it will release a build containing the full story mode, including the ending credits, if the specified cryptocurrency's market cap hits the target. The group also demanded that Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two Interactive, provide physical discs and issue a public apology to prevent the release. This is not the first leak from CyberLeek, which previously shared gameplay footage and map images in August. Take-Two has sought subpoenas to identify the leakers, while the authenticity and development stage of the claimed build remain unverified. GTA6 is scheduled for release on November 19.
