Lawsuit claims VFW owners neglected member's safety during attack

A lawsuit has been filed against the owners of a VFW club in Aliquippa after a member, Preston Coleman III, was severely beaten inside the lodge. The suit claims an employee failed to call 911 during the attack on January 5. Coleman suffered serious injuries, including head trauma and broken ribs, after being assaulted by Brett Ours and Ronald Brown. Ours faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, while Brown is charged with aggravated assault. Ireland Brown, the bartender, has also been charged for her role in the incident. She is accused of hindering the response to the attack. All three individuals are awaiting court hearings, with Ours denied bail and remaining in jail.
