Laboratory owner has ties to convicted businessman Báez
The owner of a fentanyl-tainted laboratory, responsible for at least 53 deaths, is linked to the convicted businessman Lázaro Báez through shared businesses and potential ties to organized crime. Ariel García Furfaro, owner of the HLB laboratory, and Báez share connections through the charter company Top Air, which operated from Báez's business hub. Top Air's president, Walter Zanzot, and García Furfaro also share connections to Báez's accountant, Diego Castrillón. The investigation reveals shared properties, prison visits, and aviation deals, including a Learjet owned by García Furfaro, raising suspicions of money laundering and potential involvement in drug trafficking.
