Kyle Busch struggles with emotional toll from winless streak
Kyle Busch is struggling as he has not won a NASCAR race since the start of the 2024 season. This is the longest winless period of his 19-year career. Busch, who drives for Richard Childress Racing, recently talked about how hard this time has been for him and his family. In a podcast with fellow NASCAR star Kevin Harvick, Busch shared his feelings about the situation. He mentioned that not being able to celebrate victories has been especially tough on his son, Brexton. Busch reflected on how in past years, they enjoyed many wins together, but now Brexton is old enough to understand the celebrations he is missing. Busch said, "It's tough... Not being able to score a victory was really hard." He emphasized that it affects him more when he sees his son missing out on those moments. Despite the challenges, Busch is determined to improve and find a way back to winning races. He stated, "You just keep fighting it out." In the latest race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Busch finished in 21st place, continuing his winless run. He remains hopeful and focused on working with his team to turn things around.
