New apartment prices in Kyiv have increased by 2.4% in the last six months, reaching an average of 53,250 UAH per square meter. The price increase represents 1,250 UAH per square meter, though prices decreased by 1.11% in the last month. The cheapest areas to buy are Desnianskyi and Darnytskyi districts, while Pecherskyi is the most expensive. A new government bill is being considered to address housing issues, including the outdated housing stock, as the current system is based on a 1983 code.
