KKR's coach remains optimistic about struggling players

Guwahati: KKR's bowling coach Bharat Arun is not worried about Rinku Singh or Andre Russell despite their recent struggles. Rinku has scored low in his last few T20I matches, including just 12 runs in the IPL opener against RCB. Arun pointed out that failure is common in sports. He noted that champions like Russell feel pressure to perform after a poor game. "We are hoping Russell will do well in this game," Arun said. He also expressed confidence in Rinku, stating that he has been batting well in practice. When asked about the balance of teams after the first matches, Arun commented that all teams appear evenly matched. He believes that the victor will be the team that seizes key moments in the game. Regarding the Barsapara wicket, Arun mentioned it has been good historically. He noted the conditions look excellent and is optimistic about a competitive match.
