KKR to play IPL 2025 matches at Eden Gardens

They stated on social media that misleading information is being shared about the match's rescheduling. The police emphasized their commitment to public safety and confirmed that all deployment decisions focus on ensuring security for citizens. KKR is firm about not playing any of their home matches at a different venue. This has put pressure on IPL organizers to find a solution if security issues continue. A decision on this matter is expected next week. In recent action, KKR opened their IPL 2025 campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and lost the match by seven wickets. KKR scored 174 runs, with Ajinkya Rahane contributing 56 runs. RCB easily chased down the target, with Virat Kohli remaining not out at 59. Krunal Pandya was named Player of the Match for taking three wickets and performing well under pressure from the crowd.
