Kirkman and Ottley revive Invincible comics with new Battle Beast series

Robert Kirkman and Ryan Ottley are reviving the "Invincible" comic series with a new spinoff titled "Invincible Universe: Battle Beast." The first issue will be released in April 2025, shortly after the third season of the "Invincible" animated series premieres on February 6, 2025. The comic will feature variant covers by several artists and blind bag versions with random covers and bonus comics. Kirkman expressed excitement about returning to the "Invincible" universe, while Ottley noted the opportunity to expand Battle Beast's story. Both creators aim to fill in the narrative gap between issues 19 and 55 of the original series.
