Kingsport police probe shooting deaths of Oak Ridge woman and local man

Kingsport police are investigating the deaths of 25-year-old Mikayla Sandusky from Oak Ridge and 27-year-old Dillion Prater. They were found dead from gunshot wounds on December 28 at a residence on Tiffany Court. Police responded to a disturbance call and discovered the two unresponsive. A firearm was located at the scene, and authorities believe the incident is isolated. Sandusky was a graduate of Hardin Valley Academy and worked at Cason Group in Knoxville. She is survived by her son, family, and friends.
