Khushbu Sundar reflects on being replaced in Ram Teri Ganga Maili at age 14

Khushbu Sundar was originally cast in the film "Ram Teri Ganga Maili" at age 14, but was replaced by Mandakini after Raj Kapoor deemed her too young for the role. Kapoor felt a character with a baby would not suit someone so young. The film, released in 1985, was a significant success and marked Kapoor's last directorial project. Khushbu later became a prominent star in Tamil and Telugu cinema, making her Hindi film return in "Vanvas" after a long hiatus. Khushbu began her career as a child artist in the 1980s and transitioned to leading roles in the 1990s. She has continued to work in films, including a recent appearance in "Annaatthe" alongside Rajinikanth.
