Kellogg's has launched a new cereal called Oaties, available in plain and chocolate flavors. The company claims it stays crunchy in milk, a promise backed by food scientists who worked on its texture. A taste test revealed that after five minutes, the cereal softened slightly on the outside but remained crunchy inside. At ten minutes, the texture was similar to the five-minute mark, with most pieces still dry. After twenty minutes, some outer layers softened, but the centers remained crunchy. Even after thirty minutes, the cereal held its crunch well, surprising the tester. Kellogg's has not yet explained how this is achieved.
