Kavya Maran, CEO of Sunrisers Hyderabad, led her team in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction, acquiring eight players, including Ishan Kishan and Mohammad Shami. The team spent ₹ 11.25 crore on Kishan, their most expensive player. Maran, 31, has gained attention since summer 2023. Her net worth is estimated at ₹ 409 crore. She is the daughter of Kalanithi Maran, a wealthy businessman and co-owner of the franchise. Born in Chennai in 1992, Kavya Maran studied commerce at Stella Maris College and earned an MBA from Warwick Business School. She has been the franchise CEO since 2018.
