Kate Garraway announces release of Israeli hostages on Good Morning Britain

On Thursday's Good Morning Britain, presenters Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley announced breaking news about the release of four Israeli hostages by Hamas. This includes two young children, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, taken during the October 7 attack. The bodies of their mother, Shiri Bibas, and 84-year-old Oded Lifshitz were also returned. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the day as very difficult for Israel. DNA testing in Tel Aviv will confirm the identities of the deceased. Additionally, six more Israeli captives are set to be released by Hamas on Saturday. This follows a previous release of Yarden Bibas, the father of Ariel and Kfir, on February 1 as part of a ceasefire agreement.
