Kane County residents can report Election Day issues
Kane County residents can report Election Day problems using a special complaint line. It will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 1. People can call 630-208-5328 to report suspected illegal activities, like electioneering or issues with voting rights. The line is staffed by assistant state’s attorneys who will address any concerns related to election laws. For general questions about polling places, residents should call 630-232-5990 instead. Hanover Township is offering a free open gym program for children aged 5 to 14 during the School District U-46 spring break. The program runs from noon to 4 p.m. daily from March 31 to April 4 at the Izaak Walton Youth Center. Activities will include sports and arts and crafts. Adult volunteers are needed to help run the program. Interested individuals can call 630-483-5799 for registration or volunteering information. Also, the Boy Band Project will perform at Elgin Community College’s Blizzard Theater on March 28 at 7:30 p.m. The show features music and dance from iconic boy bands like NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. Tickets are available for $42 online and at the box office. Finally, the Dundee-Crown High School baseball team is raising funds for equipment and travel expenses.
