Jimmy Tatro joins Ferrell, Efron in comedy film

Jimmy Tatro, known for his role in "American Vandal," will star in a new comedy film alongside Will Ferrell, Zac Efron, and Regina Hall. The film is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and is directed by Nicholas Stoller. The movie's plot centers on a young man, played by Efron, who has just been released from prison. Upset with a judge's ruling, he takes a TV courtroom hostage. Ferrell will portray the judge, while Tatro and Hall's roles have not yet been revealed. Nicholas Stoller, famous for his work on "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Neighbors," is both directing and writing the film. The project is produced by Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown under Gloria Sanchez Productions.
