Jim Carrey has returned to the "Sonic the Hedgehog" franchise for "Sonic the Hedgehog 3," despite previously suggesting he might retire. He reprises his role as Dr. Robotnik at the film's UK premiere. Carrey joked about needing money as a reason for his return, saying he "bought a lot of stuff." He had previously stated he would only return for a very special script. "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" is set to be released in US theaters on December 20.
