Jerusalem and Tel Aviv see urban renewal projects advance

In Jerusalem, a "pinui-binui" project in the Shalom Yehuda complex began with the demolition of old buildings. This project by Azorim replaces 48 existing units with two 22-story towers, totaling 144 new units. The project includes commercial space and public areas. In Tel Aviv, a "Tama 38" project at Beit Lessin received a building permit and is advancing toward demolition. The project by Ofek Holdings will replace an existing four-story building with 12 apartments with an eight-story building with 25 apartments. Demolition is scheduled for next month. Both projects in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv mark progress in urban renewal. The Jerusalem project is Azorim’s first demolition phase in the city. In Tel Aviv, Ofek Holdings aims to start construction next month, expecting completion in three years.
