J.D. Vance prepares to move into vice presidential residence with family
J.D. Vance and his family are preparing to move into the vice presidential residence at the Naval Observatory in January 2025. The 9,000 square foot home features six bedrooms, a wrap-around porch, and a private swimming pool. The residence, located two miles from the White House, was previously home to Joe Biden during his vice presidency. Biden has fondly recalled the pool, which he reportedly used for skinny dipping, as one of his favorite features. The Vance family will have ample space for their three children and dog. The home, built in 1893, has a rich history and has served as the vice presidential residence since the 1970s.
