Jason Momoa supports Māori protest against Treaty Principles Bill in New Zealand
Jason Momoa has expressed support for the Hīkoi mō Te Tiriti, urging his followers to back the Māori opposition to the proposed Treaty Principles Bill. He shared a video of a Māori MP performing a haka, which gained significant attention online. The hīkoi, which began at Cape Reinga, reached Porirua on Monday and is heading to Parliament. The Treaty Principles Bill has passed its first reading and is now under review by the Justice Committee. Momoa, known for his advocacy on climate issues, is currently touring New Zealand with his band. He has previously called for global action on environmental matters at the UN.
