Jared Leto cast as Skeletor in new Masters of the Universe movie

Jared Leto has been cast as Skeletor in the upcoming live-action Masters of the Universe movie, produced by Mattel and Amazon MGM. He joins Nicholas Galitzine, who will play He-Man, along with other notable cast members. The film also features Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-At-Arms, and Camila Mendes as Teela. The plot details remain undisclosed, but it is expected to follow the original toy line and 1983 animated series. Directed by Travis Knight, the film is set to be released on June 5, 2026. This will be the second live-action adaptation of the franchise, following the unsuccessful 1987 film.
