JAM 2025 admissions portal opens for IIT Master's programs
The admission portal for the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2025 will open today, March 26, 2025. This portal is for students who want to apply for various Master's programmes at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Eligible candidates can apply through the JOAPS portal at IIT Delhi's website until April 9, 2025. The JAM test allows admission to MSc, MSc (Tech.), MS (Research), MSc-MTech dual degrees, and Joint MSc-PhD programmes across 22 IITs and additional institutes. IIT Delhi held the JAM 2025 exam on February 2, 2025. More than 66,000 students registered for the exam, and around 83 percent attended. Over 16,600 candidates, or more than 30 percent of those who took the test, have qualified. The exam was conducted in a computer format and included seven subjects: physics, chemistry, geology, mathematics, biotechnology, economics, and mathematical statistics. It featured different types of questions, including multiple choice and numerical answers. Candidates will be admitted in four rounds and can choose their programmes based on their exam performance. All eligible candidates have received their scorecards through the JOAPS portal.
